How to play Price Check
- Read the two listings: location, size, bedrooms, bathrooms and age all change the price.
- Tap the home you think sold for more before the timer bar runs out.
- Build a streak for bonus points. As your streak grows the price gaps get smaller and the timer gets shorter.
- In Appraiser mode drag the slider to your estimate and lock it in. The closer you are, the more points you score.
About the game
Price Check is a quick property price game. Two homes appear side by side with their bedrooms, bathrooms, size, age and location, and you tap the one you think sold for more. The prices are revealed straight away, so every round teaches you a little more about what drives home values.
In Duel mode the gap between the two homes gets smaller as your streak grows and the clock keeps ticking, and three wrong answers end the run. In Appraiser mode you price five homes with a slider and score points for getting close. Everything uses made-up listings and fictional money.
Tips
- Location usually matters more than size, and size usually matters more than bedrooms.
- Older homes are usually cheaper, but a great location can beat a newer build.
- When two homes look alike, trust the bigger house in the better area.
