How to play Compound 2048
- Swipe on the board, or press the arrow keys or WASD, to slide every note in that direction.
- When two notes with the same value touch they merge into the next denomination and add to your score.
- Chain merges on consecutive moves for a combo bonus. Every move adds a new note, so keep the board tidy.
- Use Undo to take back a bad move and Tidy to clear the smallest notes when the board is nearly full.
About the game
Compound 2048 is a sliding merge puzzle where the tiles are money. Every swipe slides all the notes on the board, and two equal notes that touch merge into the next denomination, from a single dollar up to a hundred thousand.
The goal is to reach the five thousand dollar down payment, and then keep compounding for a higher score. Merge on consecutive moves for a combo bonus, earn coins after every game, and spend them on upgrades like extra undos, a head start and lucky notes.
Tips
- Keep your biggest note in one corner and build the chain next to it.
- Avoid swiping the direction that pulls your big note out of the corner unless you have no other move.
- Save Undo for the moment a swipe fills the board, not for small mistakes.
